: Hi.

My name is Chris and I thought I should share this photo with you. It was taken on December 2, 2006 in northern California on the 101 somewhere near Petaluma. I witnessed a black line in the sky, which was being "traced" by an airplane and contrail that lingered briefly, then disappeared. The black line also disappeared. I also have a video of the event.
