Should You Get a Flu Shot? (Dec. 7, 2012)Forwarded by Wade Brown
It’s that time of year when everybody in the news recommends that you spend $30 to get a flu shot. The 2012 shot is available either by a nasal spray or as an injection. This year, they say the vaccine is effective in treating most types of the flu virus. But then, that’s what they say every year.
This year, news organizations and medical professionals are telling us that we’re in for an epidemic of flu cases. Then again, we can recall just a couple years ago, when we were supposed to have had a pandemic of flu outbreaks, similar to the Spanish Flu of 1918-1919. The pandemic never happened (thankfully).
Doctors tell you at the beginning of every flu season that you can’t get the flu from having a flu shot. This is bunk: an internet search will reveal countless cases of people catching the flu after getting a flu shot. I can attest to it: I got the flu after my last shot 15 years ago. I’ve never had a flu shot since then, nor have I gotten the flu.
Some of you have no choice but to get the flu shot. One of you worked as a security guard at a hospital. He was required to get a flu shot. He had done his research, though, and knew the odds when it came to flu shots. He refused to get one. And was then laid off.
When you do your own research on the topic, look at the source of the research. If it’s done by anybody in the medical profession, you can bet that they’ll recommend you get the shot. After all, not only do they get the $30 fee, but they also get to treat you at the hospital when you come down with the side effects. And there are plenty of side effects. Look at this article:

Side effects of the injectable killed flu vaccine include soreness, redness & swelling at the shot site, cough, fever, headache, red/itchy eyes, fatigue, itching and seizures. These symptoms can last for 1-2 days. They forgot to mention one: THE FLU.If you look at the article above, you’ll see right below it the following post:·
Shanáe says: August 9, 2012 at 3:44 pm I got the flu shot years ago. It made me sicker than I have ever been. A year later, when my son was 2, the nurse at his doctor’s office pressured me into getting him one. They had to split it into 2 doses, blah, blah. He suffered a seizure a couple days later and another 2 weeks after that….I’m talking ambulance, spinal taps, the works. After all the testing was done, they told me it was a flu that had caused it. He wasn’t even sick! The shot may be fine for others, but, in our home, we will never get them again.
Within a few short weeks after getting a flu shot, Washington Redskins cheerleader, Desiree Jennings, lost the ability to walk, talk normally and focus on more than one stimulus at a time.
Nutritional doctor Peter Glidden says that flu shots are about 9% effective (not a type-o). This is due in large part to doses being prepared to address known strains of the virus. Then, when flu season arrives months later, new strains arrive with it, and the current flu shot is ineffective against the new 91%. It makes you wonder whether it was worth it to get that shot in the first place.
Oftentimes, the effect of a flu shot isn’t felt for years. Natural News reports the following: Dr. Hugh Fudenberg, a world renowned immunogeneticist, announced that you have a ten-fold increased chance of getting Alzheimer's after receiving five flu shots. Not just 10%; 10 times!!! And I thought Alzheimers was caused just by statin drugs.

After researching all of this, I’ll stick to my Healthy Start Pak. However, if you’re really worried about catching the flu, Youngevity has the Flu Buster, An immune-boosting blend of wild-crafted and organically grown herbs. It contains Garlic, Ginger, Horseradish, Onions and Habanero Juice in Vinegar. And it costs less than a flu shot.Health For The Holidays
What do you give someone who already has everything? Their health. A close relative has had back problems for over 20 years. One month after starting the Healthy Start Pak, she told me the other day that she couldn’t feel her back pain. Her back problems were like a bad penny which had kept coming up but has now gone away. If you’re on a strict budget, get a few bottles of the Plant-Derived Minerals for $20 each and gift-wrap them. I enjoy the label on the bottle, indicating that they may have an unpleasant taste. That’s like saying the Mojave Desert in the summer may be unpleasantly warm. THEY TASTE AWFUL!!!! But they work.
