{Editor's Note: A saline solution is merely salt water. Typically, we make a 10% saline solution by taking 1 part of a 100% salt water solution, and add 9 parts of distilled water to it. ..Ken]http://educate-yourself.org/lte/helpfulpharmacist18aug05.shtml

Subject: Thanks!
Ken,I just wanted to send you a note of Thanks for the wonderful information on making my own saline solution.
I got a bad burn on my leg and was instructed to rinse the burn with saline solution....but eye solution has other stuff in it. I went to the pharmacy to try and buy it and they told me I needed a prescription to buy it. The pharmacist couldn't even tell me how to mix my own!
Thanks again!
