[Editor's Note: As a kid, I remember swinging from an oak tree in the backyard using a big hemp rope acquired from a cargo ship. Hemp rope was commonly seen at that time. The Illuminati do not want you to know about the usefulness of the hemp plant, since it grows very fast and can be a source of wood for burning or building, and its fiber can be used for anything from rope to clothing. Its oil is as good a source of essential omega 3 and 6 oils as is borage oil or flax seed oil. If things get real bad, you could survive very nicely if you had easy access to hemp trees. Thus, the plant needed to be made illegal under the pretext of marijuana smoking. Here in California, they sentenced a man to 90 years in prison for growing hemp plants in the basement of his house, this due to the wonders of the Three Strikes law, one of the most corrupt, cynical, and unconstitutional 'laws' ever written. They promote these heavy handed sentences in the media in order to frighten people, so you will view the word "hemp' with great trepidation.
That doesn't mean that we shouldn't try to force national legislators to change the law and allow the growing of industrial hemp (which is not the same thing as marijuana hemp, I am told). They legalized hemp in British Columbia a few years ago, so there's no reason to assume that it couldn't happen here, but it would take a tremendous push from the public. ..Ken]

Subject: Check out Vote Hemp!
I just sent Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in response to his veto of AB 684 that earned the approval of the California congress and senate and I also wrote my Senators and Congressmen to ask them to co-sponsor H.R 1009 and to let US farmers grow industrial hemp and thought you would be interested too.
