Dear Ken,

About 13 yrs. ago I was driving east across NY state on the thruway there (90). I had been on the road for some time, and in an emotional prayer-like state for the past hour or so, having just driven thru the town of Seneca, NY where my N.A. grandfather was born. Towards sunset, as I came over a large hill approaching Herkimer, NY (home of the famous herkimer diamond mines), a shaft of light emitted from beneath the dark clouds that had covered the sky for the past few hours.

Radiating a spectacular light across the valley, of which I had a prime view, it catapulted my feelings into a bountiful reverence for life and the earth. With tears of joy in my eyes, I thought "Those trees are so beautiful, I could just gather them like flowers". And when I did so, I experienced 'myself' expanding to the size of a giant being, for whom the large oak and maple trees would be as a bouquet size of flowers, and who strode through the valley full of love for all the creatures of the earth, her valley - her Great Beingness radiating an earthy joy.

This coincided with my own regular personal self driving down the highway, and lasted only what seemed like a few seconds. However, it was definitely a visionary type of experience and left me breathless.

A week later, somewhat guardedly, I recounted my experience to a friend, an herbalist. She said, "You know they found a crop circle in Herkimer last weekend". This was just the frosting on an already delicious cake. I, of course, contemplated the synchronicity of events and knew that they were definitely connected.

When I came upon your website today and read that article about Crop Circles being created by Sylphs, it was the first thing I had read that specifically dealt with this type of event. When it is said that sylphs and humans are of the flesh, I had the distinct experience of that.

Anyway, it was definitely a pleasure coming across your website today.
