Hi Ken:
Because Armour has been altered, I (and a couple of my friends) found that Nascent Iodine works for the thyroid. Dr. Mark Sircus and Dr. Carolyn Dean have written excellent articles on Nascent Iodine and it can be purchased from _http://www.LLMagneticclay.com)n California.
Best to you,

Hi Carol,
Thanks for this info, very helpful.
I'm looking forward to discussing the very valuable information contained in Dr. Mark Starr's book, Hypothyroidism Type 2. I hope everyone reading this article will get his book. It's a goldmine of information. The need to take iodine daily was stressed in Dr. Tennant's book, Healing is Voltage book, but the use of Nascent Iodine as a possible substitute or alternative or adjunct to dessicated thyroid supplementation is something worth looking into.
Dr Starr believes that perhaps 90% of the US population is suffering from hypothyroidism type 2 and they don't know it. The common signs are thinning and loss of body hair, including the outer third of the eyebrows (look in a mirror), chronic fatigue, muscle weakness, tingling or numbness in hands (especially when first awakening), ridged fingernails (take a look), easily exhausted with minor exertion, can't handle normal, everyday stress easily, you feel burned out, and you have a first awakening, under-armpit temperature (leave it for 10 minutes) below 98.2 degrees Fahrenheit, often hovering around 97 degrees, maybe lower. If your basal temperture is lower than normal, then your base metabolic rate is lower than normal and you can't get your cellular mitochondria to produce enough energy for you, thus you're mostly tired and feel sleepy, on nnd off, throughout the day.
You can obtain iodine by eating kelp daily or take iodine supplements or place one drop of 5% Lugol's solution on your skin everyday and let it soak in.
The easiset way to find out if you're suffering from hypothyroidism is to take your underarm temperature in the morning when first waking up and see what you get. A mercury thermometer is best, but an alcohol thermometer is a good second choice. Digital thermometers are not as reliable. The underarm is a better location than mouth or ear (low grade sinus, mouth, or ear infections will give a higher than normal oral temperature)
I'll add more in Addendum 2.
Regards, Ken

To: Ken AdachiHi Ken:
Here's some helpful info on Nascent Iodine and an interview with Dr. Mark Sircus. Iodine is essential, as is magnesium oil; together, they are
magnificent. Nascent Iodine is Anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal, and raises the production of T3 and T4.Here's the interview:
Thyroid Nascent Iodine For Less_
http://www.thyroidnascentiodine.com/Nascent Iodine is a scientific term for iodine where the iodine molecule has the diatomic bond broken and has a high amount of electromagnetic energy associated with it. A True Nascent Iodine cannot be made from a Glycerine or Water Base. Why? Because the diatomic bond cannot be broken in Glycerine or Water.
Best wishes to you,
Carol
