In his booklet Dr. Kelly states: "Everybody has cancer. Each day each one of us has a cancer start and develop in our body. This is a normal ongoing process each one of us experiences. At this point, the normal metabolic defense system takes care of these wayward cells and we go about our daily lives. It is when your normal metabolic defense system or clean-up crew cannot handle this normal body process that you begin to develop a tumor or cancer mass which can eventually be found by yourself or your physician.

"Cancer can best be understood by comparing cancer cells with pre-placenta cells. Everyone has them and sometimes they become active trying to form a placenta we call cancer. "This is a normal metabolic process and these pre-placenta cells become trapped in the normal somatic tissue of the developing fetus. Later in life, in the absence of the body's normal metabolic defense, these pre-placenta cells develop into cancer of various cell types.

"Most doctors, even the research scientists, suppose cancer is caused by such things as viruses, X-rays, smoking, chemicals, sunlight, trauma, etc. These, sometimes, are an indirect cause. The _direct cause, according to our research, is the changing of an ectopic germ cell into an ectopic trophoblast cell. An excess of female sex hormones brings about this change. Both men and women have male and female sex hormones and when the delicate male-female sex hormone balance is upset, cancer may start.

"In the beginning of the human life cycle the fertilized egg gives rise to three basic kinds of cells: 1. Primitive germ cells; 2. Normal body or somatic cells; and 3. Trophoblast cells. "The egg is fertilized by the sperm in the fallopian tube of the mother. By the third day this fertilized egg has fallen into the uterus. During the three days and for many days thereafter, the trophoblast cells (cancer cells) are growing very rapidly and surround the other two types of cells (primitive germ cells, and normal body or somatic cells).

"The new baby will fall out of the uterus unless something happens fast, and happen it does. The trophoblast cells metastasize (as cancer does) to the wall of the uterus. Now the baby cannot fall out of the mother's uterus, but needs nourishment. The trophoblast cells (cancer cells) continue to grow rapidly and form the placenta. Now with a good food supply and no danger of falling out of the mother, the baby (embryo) can continue to grow, safe and sound, until birth. "The placental trophoblast tissue (cancer mass) continues to grow until about the seventh week when the baby's pancreas develops.

"The baby's pancreatic enzyme production along with the mother's pancreatic enzyme production stops the growth of the placental trophoblast tissue (cancer mass).

"As the new embryo (baby) is being formed from the normal body or somatic cells, the primitive germ cells are multiplying. In a few days when the embryo (baby) develops to the proper stage, the primitive germ cells stop multiplying and begin to migrate to the gonads (ovaries or testes).

"About three billion of these primitive germ cells become fatigued and never have the vital force necessary to reach the gonads. This means that there are two germ cells for every area the size of a pinhead dispersed throughout your body. Any one of these germ cells is a potential cancer. This is why cancer can form in any part of the body - all that is needed is a deficiency of pancreatic enzymes and an imbalance of sex hormones. The imbalance of sex hormones can take place at any time, but it usually occurs between 45 and 60 years of age.

"When all is said and done, cancer is a normal growth of tissue (placenta) due to the development of a basic germ cell in the wrong place (outside of the uterus). Sometimes this placenta also has a `baby' or develops a tumor inside of it much like a normal pregnancy - only it's in the wrong place.

"Malignancy, therefore, is never normal (somatic) tissue gone into wild proliferation, but a normal primitive germ cell growing normally in the wrong place."

Dr. Kelly had a Cancer Clinic in Mexico (The Kelly Program) during the 70's and 80's. He has helped 30,000 people successfully fight cancer. In his booklet he gives complete instructions on his cancer treatment and presents the stories of 6 of his patients. The "Formulas"
Dr. Kelly prescribes as "Formula P" for prevention and "Formula T" for his Self-Test are Panteric Extra. His other formulas, "Formula Ca" for Cancer, "Formula L" for Leukemia and "Formula A" for AIDS have additional "activators" included in the caplets. Dr. Kelly's pharmacist is Jim Dews. Together, Dr. Kelly and Jim Dews created Panteric Extra from range-fed American beef pancreas steaks using a low-heat process. Then Jim developed the technology to protect the enzymes from the harsh stomach acids that would destroy them before they reached the small intestine where they are needed to digest fat, carbohydrates and especially protein. In Panteric Extra caplets each tiny enzyme granule (not just the entire tablet, which may not work) is coated with Jim Dews' special enteric coating (hence the name "Panteric Extra").

Dr. Kelly's Self Test for Cancer
Dr. Kelly states that within six weeks, by taking Formula T caplets (Panteric Extra caplets), you can discover if you have cancer. The procedure is to take 4 caplets with each meal and at bedtime. If within three weeks you become toxic (ill, crabby, sick, nauseated, vomiting, or develop an elevated temperature or a violent headache) a malignant mass of cells, or a tumor, is usually present and of a size that it should be detectable by one's physician. If you feel ill between three to five weeks there is usually an undetectable cancer mass or a pre-cancer condition developing. But, after five to six weeks, if you do not notice a toxic feeling or condition, you are usually free of cancer. You should repeat the self-test again after six months to one year.
