South American Fire Ants Invade Oz -
A 'Terrifying Disaster' Underway

[Editor's Note: This is a typical 'crisis' that has been artificially created by the NWO crowd. The ants didn't arrive in a cargo ship as stated in the story. Cargo ships have been traveling from South America to Australia for centuries, without ever bringing in a plague of fire ants. Now, in the year 2001, suddenly South American fire ants invade Australia via cargo ships- yea, right. The NWO creates these situations in order to provide the 'solution' and to extend an excuse for further controls over the people. They are using the fire ant excuse to start an eradication program, which in reality would be used to weaken/sicken the human population as part of their world wide population reduction, genocide agenda. Same thing with the West Nile Virus here in the US. Patty Doyle and Len Horowitz have clearly identified the paper trail that exposed the intentional development and seeding of the WNV into the New York area (and elsewhere) as an an excuse to spray New York and other big cities with tons of toxic malathion. Of course, any manfactured excuse will do to justify having (NWO) military troops tromping all over the country in populated areas. They need to practice for the Coming Days of martial law...Ken Adachi]

Experts have warned that Australia faces a potential ecological catastrophe, with a study showing the South
American fire ant is devastating wildlife populations in Queensland.

"This is really terrifying stuff, and I'm not exaggerating, " said the
manager of the Queensland Government's Naturesearch program, Mr Ric
               Nattrass.

At the same time, residents in areas infested by the ants are reporting
they can no longer work in gardens and that children cannot play on
               lawns.

Since the ant was discovered in Brisbane in February, apparently after
being brought in on a cargo ship, it has been found at 733 sites across
23,000 hectares. It is believed to be occupying more than 2,000 sites.

Scientists have warned the ant will spread across the whole of
south-eastern Australia, wreaking environmental and social havoc, if it is
               not eradicated.

A $123 million eradication program funded by all the States and the
Commonwealth kicks off next month. More than 100,000 homes will be
baited and 500 controllers are being employed in a military-style
               operation.

The report, by Mr Nattrass and his colleagues, on preliminary fauna
surveys in the infested areas will be published soon in the journal Ecology
               and Restoration.

The researchers found that no skink lizards of any species appeared to
have survived the ants, although they were common in nearby uninfested
               areas.

Mr Nattrass said it appeared the lizards, which normally fed on ants, had
become the prey. "It would seem that the fire ant workers are swarming
out of their nests to attack them."

Numbers of bush cockroaches had been reduced by 90 per cent, native
ant populations had declined by 75 per cent and further reductions were
likely. "The decline in the natives has been massive, with whole
populations being stripped away," Mr Nattrass said.

"You walk through infested areas and all you can see is fire ant mounds.
It's terrifying to contemplate the consequences."

The director of the Fire Ant Control Centre, Mr Keith McCubbin, said:
"If we don't succeed, we will be living with an ecological disaster
               forever."

He said the ant invasion would also have severe social consequences. In
some areas of Brisbane, residents could no longer mow lawns or work in
gardens, dogs were "in agony a lot of the time" and parents could not let
               children play outside unsupervised.

The ant's bite can be fatal to humans. Mrs Pat Hodges, from the
Brisbane suburb of Gailes, said she had to call a doctor when she was
bitten on the foot. "You couldn't describe the pain, it was a really bad,
burning sting. I came up with these blisters that wouldn't go away. I was
               getting headaches and feeling sick."

She felt like a prisoner in her own home. "I'm not game to go outside ...
I'm afraid to let my grandkids go downstairs. "
