[Editor's Note: The statistical facts are simple and well known by the alternative medicine world. This mother is trying to save her son's life and the state is trying to kill him by trying to force him to take chemo when it's statistically PROVEN that chemo is the worst possible treatment choice. Update May 25, 2009. Colleen Hauser and Daniel returned home to Minnesota on Monday after an Orange County attorney made arrangements with police to drop arrest warrants and related charges. TV news said that Daniel would be going to a local hospital for evaluation. It's hard to know whether Colleen and son will cave in to the coersion and pressure tactics being exerted upon them to accept unwanted chemo poisoning by the outrageous Judge John Rodenberg and his Brown Shirts in the County Sherriff's office or whether some libertarian-minded attorneys and alternative medicine advocates will come to this woman's rescue and throw up some much needed legal roadblocks. ...Ken Adachi

Dear Ken,

You probably already know this.

The Hausers decided to let chemo be administered to Daniel (13) rather than having him forced into foster care. So not only would Daniel have been taken from his family, he would still have been forced to receive chemo. Additionally, there is no longer a warrant for his mother's arrest. Daniel and his mother were flown for free on a private jet back to Minn.

Let's see, free private jet ride (back to chemo), Daniel gets to continue to live with his family (Which should be his right anyway.), his mom will not be arrested (another right). Maybe some of the folks being so "nice" to the Hausers are motivated by the establishment of a presidence for forced chemo. However, the private jet was owned by ASGAARD MEDIA and they got the exclusive interview.

Daniel was asked what he would say about the system's interference in his treatment and he said he would tell them to "back off". This should be the link to the msn video

A mother has gone on the run with her desperately-sick teenage son to stop him having chemotherapy for cancer.

Parents Colleen and Tony Hauser have resolutely refused to let Daniel, 13, be treated with conventional medicine, instead advocating alternative treatments.

Mrs Hauser was due to appear before a court earlier this week.

But the mother-of-eight, did not turn up at the hearing in Minnesota and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

In her absence, Judge John Rodenberg ruled that it was in the boy's 'best interests' to receive medical care and gave social workers custody.

Yesterday, police believed the pair were in Southern California trying to cross the border into Mexico for alternative therapy.  

Sheriff Rich Offman said he had 'reliable information' that Mrs Hauser, 38,  was attempting to leave the U.S.

'I'm confident we will find them. I'm hoping for Daniel's sake, we will find them,' he added. 

'The plan is to arrest the mother and extradite her back to Minnesota with her son.'

Brown County Sheriff Rich Hoffmann claimed Mrs Hauser was attempting to flee south to Mexico

Daniel had been suffering from a persistent cough, fatigue and swollen lymph nodes when he was diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma in January.

The cancer responded well to a first round of chemotherapy in February, but  the side-effects, including the loss of his hair,  worried the family.

Mr and Mrs Hauser vetoed further chemo and instead sought other medical opinions, which apparently led them to a holistic medical treatment called Nemenhah, based on Native American healing practices.

Daniel, however, grew increasingly sick.

He was last seen by a doctor on Monday, who said the cancer was worsening and the boy had complained of severe pain. 

But his parents still refused to allow him to have conventional treatment

A lawyer for the Hausers said that they believed 'the injection of chemotherapy into Danny Hauser amounts to an assault upon his body, and  torture when it occurs over a long period of time.'

Meanwhile, family spokesman Dan Zwakman told CNN that he knew five people who have been cured with the natural healing the Hausers want for their son.

'Yes, it's happened many times,' he said.

The case came before a court on Tuesday - but by that time Mrs Hauser had fled with her sick child. 

Philip Elbert, a lawyer appointed by the court to represent Daniel,  said he considered his client to have a 'diminished capacity' because of his age and the illness and should be treated by a specialist.

Doctors said that the boy's chance of a five-year remission with more chemotherapy and possibly radiotherapy was 80 per cent to 95  per cent.

Mr Hauser  has denied having any knowledge of his wife's plan to flee with Daniel and claimed he has not been in contact with her since she left.

He told his local paper the Minneapolis Star-Tribune that Daniel had had a difficult birth.

'When he was ready to be born, the doctor hadn't shown up and he wasn't getting  his air,' he said.

The boy had to be revived twice because of lack of oxygen. 

'They told us he could have learning problems,' his father said, adding Daniel's youngest siblings, four-year-old Joseph and Elizabeth, 16 months, were missing their mother.

Dear Ken,

Continued thanks for your news.

A particular thanks for the item on the Hausers. I am so outraged by their persecution! And I am further outraged by the lies of the doctors with their claims of 5-year remission rates exceeding 80%. Notice they didn't say "cure" either.

So, I am sharing my prayer for the Hausers with you.

FIRST OFF: PROTECT THE HAUSERS! KEEP THEM SAFE AND LOVED. I am asking Angels to accompany the Hausers and keep them safe!

SECOND: MAY THIS BE THE CASE THAT UNITES US! May this be the case that wakes up America. May this be the case that good hearted Americans point to and say: "No more may the government inflict cruelty like this onto a Mother protecting her child!" May this be the case that scares the pants off the judicial system and that WE THE PEOPLE cram the constitution down that system's throat! May this be the case that calls those people of "conventional" medicine on the carpet who would lie and be motivated by greed. And may all of those people have to answer to their cruelty.

This evil from the government HAS TO STOP! How dare the sheriff in the picture wear a USA flag and want to go after an American Mom for protecting her son from toxic injections. SHAME ON HIM.

Ken, you may be interested to know that my husband faced down the same sort of treatment "options" from the so-called conventional medicine people. As an adult, he watched his mother go through chemo and radiation treatments, which slowly, painfully and cruelly killed her. My husband was then diagnosed with cancer and told the doctors that he might "live or die, but I'm not taking that shit!". The doctor wrote a letter to the effect that my husband was absurd and didn't realize the risk he was taking by refusing the doctor's so-called therapy.

That was 17 years ago. He had the good fortune to have met a woman who was an angel to him. She told him of an old cure, which he practiced. He just tilled our big garden with a little 5-horse tiller.... I would say he is still in great shape!

He'll write you the protocol of his treatment and cure, if you would like.
