I suffer from aspirin triad: Asthma, polyps and aspirin sensitivity.I am anosmic and the only thing that so far has helped with shrinking polyps and chronic inflammation and getting smell back is steroid tablets. I am looking for alternatives to shrink polyps and deflamme the nasal tissue.

I have read somewhere that Aspirin (Bayer<Aliasyouknowwho) works by blocking oxygen to the brain among other things and also affecting many chemicals (chronically in my case), including serotonin,thus having to live with a chronically illness and its handicaps. Can you help by with more info?

I can't give you medical advice, but I can share some general educational ideas that you can look into if you wish.

In my opinion, taking steroids is the worst possible approach. Yes, it offers temporary relief and of course, seems to to help to improve the situation, but it's a costly short term bandaid that causes more damage than it's worth.

I question the notion that aspirin blocks oxygen to the brain. It's an analgesic that affects the pain nerve impule to the brain.

Inflamation and polyps in the nasal area are the body's resposne to insults in that area. That could include pathogens, toxins, etc.

Stopping the insults that cause the irritation is the way to solve the problem.

Serrotonin production is another matter entirely and is more a matter of metabolic and nutritional deficiencies. Taking Omega 3 essential oils (fish oil or flax seed oil) will often improve things, but there are other factors.

Buy Hulda Clark's book, The Cure for All Disease and you will learn how to take care of your health concerns. It's quite easy to fix once you understand what is causing your problem. Most allopathic physicians do not understand what causes disease conditions to manifest in the first place. They are exclusively focused on mitigating the symptoms of disease and not addressing the cause, thus the stupidity of using steroids instead of addressing the problem with a cure.
