Hello Ken,

I found your page only recently and am very grateful for that. Just a quick addition to the many CANCER treatments. In 1980 in Germany, I was collecting stinging nettles and horsetail plants in the woods (for my garden plants) and a woman approached, asked me what I was doing with these and then told me the following:

"I had been diagnosed with CANCER in the final stage and was given 3 weeks maximum to live. Hearing about the cell building properties of silica, I had started drinking tea from HORSETAIL PLANTS five times a day. --- That was 5 years ago. I am completely free of cancer and doctors still can't understand what happened" (short version)

Talked to her in Germany, around 1980

Thanks for the work you are doing!

Hi Chris,

Wow, great story. Do you wish to add any other details to this? I want to print it. Do you know her name, etc?

Thanks for writing.

Regards, Ken

Ken,

Receiving your quick response, I feel bad about throwing this unique experience I had at you without supporting it with details. Unfortunately , no, as I am now living here on this continent and it's 20 years ago, the woman could be passed over by now and she never introduced herself. But we had a long talk and her story was amazing indeed. I just wanted to add this as another incentive for people to open their mind for the divine healing powers in nature as a way to help ourselves without the pharmaceutical demons.

The HORSETAIL plant (equisetum arvense) has been known - before "we got educated and smart"- to... "cure serious kidney and bladder diseases, to be indispensable for inner bleedings, kidneystones, cancer. It dissolces, cleans and 'burns' the bad away "...(I'm reading in German while writing in English).

'Old people should drink a daily tea to remove and prevent Rheumatism, nerve problems and arthritis and they will have a healthy life.'

"It should not be forgotten that 'horsetail' is one of the best medicines for lung problems such as chronic bronchities and tuberculosis. Regular taking of tea will heal the tuberculose lungs through the silica acid. "...

There are so many diseases mentioned here (3 pages) that I would need a dictionary to properly present it in English.

Source: Maria Treben - Health from God's Apothekary (=drug store?)

Here is what The Illustrated Book of HERBS - Their Medicinal Uses - by Sarah Bunney - Peerage Books- has to say:

"Common horsetail is a widespread weed of light sandy soil in fields, roadside & waste ground...It is a popular remedy for circulatory and kidney troubles...It contains traces of the alkaloids nicotine and equisitine, flavonoid glycosides and saponins. These give diuretic, antidiaphoretic, and weak haemostatic properties. Used in tea mixtures to treat kidney and bladder disorders, arteriosclerosis and to check internal and external bleeding. It was once used to treat pulmonary diseases such as tuberculosis. It was added to gargles to heal sore throat and in compresses or baths to treat stubborn wounds, skin rashes and ulcers."

Ps: None of us ever needed a doctor or the help of medicines (3 boys, my wife and me at 51), but I did use this plant as recommended in the diodynamic garden uses - it strengthens the plant cells to a point where the aphids actually grind their teeth off and starve to death on your plants - actually it does work. We also grow stinging nettles (possibly the most effective blood purifier around.)

If I can be of further help, let me know

Chris
