Subject: Police Kill Man with Taser

Educate-yourself.org:

My step-father, John Soto, a 39 year old hispanic man, was killed while in police custody Wednesday, Aug. 30th at 6:00 pm. Details of his death
have still not been released and the Liberal [Kansas] Police Department never contacted the family about the incident. The family found out through a rumor and eventually was contacted by the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.

Police claims are reverse of witness accounts who say that John was surrounded by 5 officers, 3 of which tased him and then beat him. The LPD are claiming that only two officers were there and that only one tased him. However, the body was severly beaten. The autopsy and cause of death have not been released, the dashboard cmaera video has not been released and the police and the hospital are not talking to the family. We really need help and we believe the best way to get the publics attention is through the media. We cannot find a lawyer in this area and no one will tell us what is going on. Please if there is anything you can do to help please contact me or my family.
