Hi,

I am a huge fan of your site, and check it for new stuff at least once a month.

I am wondering what you can tell me about "medievalism", which seems to be a growing cultish type of organisation, and is certainly international. My brother has been involved with medievalists from university for a long time now, but until I saw his new website, I had no idea just how involved he was.

These people are secretive, elitist and strange. They perform all sorts of ancient rituals and actively promote changing your way of life to a "medieval lifestyle".

What are your thoughts about this sort of stuff? How much do we have toi worry about this as a growing trend and about it claiming more members? My brother is obsessed with it, spends all his money on medieval stuff, hangs around with other "medievalsists" and on weekends is always going off to what he calls "immersion events".

If you look at the photos on his website you will see just how strange this stuff is, and how many people are into it. Even though there are so many people doing this, how often have you heard about it on the news?

Who are the leaders? Where are they getting the funding for all that equipment and what are their long term goals? I'm looking forward to hearing what you think.

Toby

Hi Toby,

Thanks for letting me know. I haven't read the info yet, so I'm only working off the top of my head, but you should be concerned about this. The satanic NWO crowd have a thousand and one ways to induce young people into their ranks, and this sounds like one of them. If you remember Dungeons and Dragons from a few years ago, that was a similar ploy to suck in young people. Just about every video game is a ploy to suck little kids into the mind set of competitive violence and combativeness, which is the world that the NWO thrives in.

TV shows (reality TV. Extreme this, Extreme that shows, etc) stive to accomplish the same thing: dog eat dog, survival of the fittest, and ZERO promotion of humaneness, charity, love, forgiveness, tenderness, mercy, spiritualism, etc.

Medieval,. of course, means a feudal world or serfs who own nothing and royal elites who own everything and control the lives of the serf population. Now can you guess who will play the role of the elites and who will be the serfs if the NWO gets their way?

This is EXACTLY the sort of world the NWO is trying to engineer into existence, so naturally, they want to get young people to play with it and become acclaimated.

The hallmarks of cult activity are secrecy, rituals, and obsessive preoccupation with the cult mind set. They PROGRAM (mind control) people who get sucked into cults. Those "immersion" events are more likely "mind control programming events" of which your brother is completely unaware of what is actually taking place.

You can find out more info than I can from your brother. You need to help him to get out of this and realize that he's being played for a chump.

Why don't you start digging and keep me posted.

I'll post your letter.

Regards, Ken

Hi, Ken.

This is one of those where people can get really bent, scared, or whatever for no real reason. One would think that a brother would ASK his brother what it is that so absorbs him---particularly if it bothers him as much as this boy SEEMS to be bothered. I recognize the style of armour. The guy is in an organization which was listed on Richard Nixon's infamous "F.B.I. Black List (of subversive organizations)" as "...mostly harmless monarchists. The organization in question is the Society for Creative Anachronism, an organization with the stated goal of "re-creating the Middle Ages---the way they SHOULD have been". There are no serfs, slaves, etc. Everyone in this game is considered to be of noble birth so the link to the "old game" is severed. There are more people involved in the arts & sciences aspects of life in the Middle Ages than ever show up on the battlefield. This includes the de facto international convention every August about an hour north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania attended by approximately 10,000 "gentles".

People of all walks of life re: age, race, occupation, faith, religion(they are different concepts), political (party, understanding/consciousness,etc.)--gosh, just like in "real life". As you may have gathered, I, myself, was a part of the SCA for many years. Most of it, I enjoyed immensely, participating as a bard(singer of [old] songs, teller of tales), an artist (mostly calligraphy/illumination) and as an archer and marshall (safety officer) of archery. When I did interviews for the press, I bragged on our heavy fighters as being the safest contact sport in the world because, at least as of 10 years
ago, there had never been a fatality linked to the organization--though the media in California made the attempt once. The idea for many of the fighters is to go on the field and "kill" as many of the opposition as possible, then join them in the encampment of one side or the other for singing, drinking and wenching. Wow! This is getting LONG! Sorry, Ken. I am a former teacher with a Master's degree in behavioral psych. and I have seen much good in the SCA. If it is an attempt by the Powers That Be relating to the new world order, they screwed up big time. For the official information on the

Society for Creative Anachronism,
