Dear Ken

I have found many articles on your site both interesting and enlightening, so was dismayed to see that your articles on The Reverend Sun Myung Moon were a classic example of bad investigative journalism . Most astonishing was the extract from the book of the former Carp member, between, I think, 1992 and 1996, and his hysterical mother. This account is full of overblown emotion and very subjective and unsubstantiated personal opinion. The classic "new religious movements are all evil" mentality which I thought had been largely abandoned. Unificationist families (many with adult children themselves by now) are healthy, balanced and well integrated into society, as well as playing an important role in helping and serving their communities, and are mostly in good communication and relationship with their families of origin too! Sensationalist stereotypes may make good reading for some, but may be very far from the truth indeed. I am including some links to the many and diverse activities of the Unification movement, to provide some recent information, and enable you to educate yourself!
