Mapping the Interior of the Earth by ZS Livingstone (Dec. 1, 2010)

About twenty years ago there was an article in Scientific American regarding the purchase of that era's latest Cray Super Computer by the Department of Energy (DOE) to map all the rock layers beneath the United States. Do you remember any subsequent reports regarding this mapping since the article?

The DOE and the U. S. Geological Survey (USGS), using core samples and seismic soundings from co-operating oil companies, were planning to find every lick of oil in every pocket and crack.

I saw an article about ten years ago that reported that seismologists were able to track rising and sinking magma plumes in the mantle. Another item stated that seismologists were able to map the mantle/core boundary layer half way to the centre of the planet and they were finding solid, not molten material.

There was yet another report over ten years ago regarding a large, deep earthquake under the Peru/Bolivia border and seismologists were having a difficult time theorizing what sort of structure in the mantle could possibly generate an 8.0 plus Richter quake?

It is very likely that with each earthquake, and considering the array of thousands of seismographs, that the interior of the earth has been mapped in great detail.

It is also likely that the total number of barrels of oil, worldwide, has been calculated in all levels of the earth's crust and in the Abiotic oil zone beneath the crust. The number of barrels of oil could be in the trillions.

There have been reports of huge metal ore findings under Afghanistan, Zimbabwe and Kosovo Serbia. It is possible the mapping of different types of ores was done from space using deep penetrating radars and by HAARP broadcasting its billions of watts into the ground. Making a career decision to become a prospector for metals at this time may be unwise.

The gag order applied by the Department of Homeland Security on seismologists a few years ago appears to be worldwide. Few seismic studies are being published or broadcast.

It would be an entirely different world if people knew what has been discovered by seismologists during the past few decades. Optimism would be high.

Bankers, corporations and nations do not want such discoveries revealed. They want to control the fabulous wealth which science has found for them. Knowing what is available, people would ask for a piece of the pie or at least a reduction in gasoline prices. How does 25 cents per gallon sound?

Of course, no more oil need be drawn from the earth as there are hidden technologies which could replace old energy practises. What a different world we would enjoy if everyone had access to over-unity power sources and anti-gravity.
