The first thing you need to realize is that everything that comes out of Stew Webb's mouth is some form of deception or misdirection. He's either fabricating lies out of whole cloth, or twisting or reversing the facts to suit his purpose. Webb is a psychopathic liar who's been covertly working as a paid FBI informant for at least 20 years, maybe longer. Ted Gunderson told me that Webb had three pending felony indictments against him in Las Vegas somewhere around 2000 - 2002, including assault and threatening an elderly couple with a handgun in a traffic incident. The FBI walked into the courtroom with Webb, and after a little private talk with the judge, they got the judge to dismiss the three felony indictments. Why would the FBI do that for Stew Webb? Because they OWN Webb and he's beholding to them. The FBI/CIA launched a smear & discredit campaign against Ted Gunderson in early 2000. Stew Webb, Art Bell, Jackie McGauley, and others were players in that smear campaign.

Ted was not "convicted" of anything. If Webb used those words, then he's only proving what I said about him: Webb is a compulsive liar (who is very likely under mind control).(In previous years, Webb also had accused Ted of being kicked out of the FBI after being caught practicing satanic rituals in his office (!) -- if you can believe that. Webb accused Ted of murdering a man named Richard Post (2). Webb said Ted was divorced by his wife because he jumped naked into a swimming pool with his 12 year old daughter. Ted is a 'drug dealer'. Ted is a gun runner working with Oliver North and Iran/Contra, etc. The list goes on and on. Stew Webb simply makes up the most ludicrous lies about Ted Gunderson and repeats them ad nauseam.)
In the case of the Art Bell lawsuit, there was no trial. There were 2 or 3 pretrial hearings and the liability insurance company (which was not connected to the FBI as far as I know, since Ted had been retired from the FBI 21 years earlier) who represented Ted told Ted that they wanted to settle the suit with Bell and not go to trial. Ted asked "why"? They gave him no reason other than "we want to settle." Ted was against that.
He told the insurance people that he could win. Bell had NOTHING on Ted. Bell's assertions about Ted Gunderson over his radio show were utterly fallacious and untrue [see video below]. Ted said none of the things which Art Bell accused him of saying. I posted the transcript of the short wave radio show which Ted did with David Hinkson on December 9, 1997 and you can plainly see that Ted didn't accuse Bell of pedophilia or anything else. The insurance company insisted on settling and did so without Ted's agreement. Of course, Ted immediately suspected why the insurance company was anxious to settle. He realized that they had been contacted by 'higher powers' and were told to settle quickly and give the impression that Ted had "lost" the lawsuit; which, of course, is the way Webb described it.

Ted would have easily won the lawsuit with Art Bell and the government's orchestrated smear campaign against him would have been revealed in the course of that trial. The government didn't want that to happen, so somebody leaned on the insurance company to settle in order to avoid trial. And that's exactly what they did.
Webb was probably talking to Jackie McGauley, a former live-in girlfriend from 1990 - 1994, not Ted's ex wife. Jackie is a member of the Ted Gunderson Character Assassination Team, like paid-FBI-informant Stew Webb. Ironically, I recently got a phone call from the brother of Jackie McGauley. The first thing he told me is that his sister has had mental problems all of her life. Judging from the way she turned on Ted Gunderson after he had supported her and her kids for 4 years, that didn't surprise me. After viciously slandering Ted Gunderson for the past 16 years, I have the feeling that Jackie's comeuppance is just over the horizon.

There is nothing that this maniac will not accuse Ted Gunderson of being involved in! You name it- murder, drug sales, drug manufacturing, drug distribution, trafficking in children, selling missiles to bin Laden, pedophilia, stealing from old ladies, gun running, statutory rape, kiddie porn, satanism, white slavery, etc. etc.; it's a bottomless pit! Occasionally, I'll get an e-mail from someone who stumbles upon this idiot's swill and will write me, anxious to alert me to the menace posed by that dastardly and darkly evil genius of ex-"COINTELPRO" repute, Ted, after they've been enlightened at Webb's web. Holy Cow! How can serious minded people read this idiocy and actually accept it at face value? People CANNOT be this stupid!
If you merely take the time to carefully read ALL of Webb's posted data about Ted: the so-called 'documentation' which he claims are 'proof' of Ted's guilt about this or that, or the courtroom transcript of a hearing he requested in order to convince a Nevada magistrate that he needed a one year "Protective (restraining) Order" against Ted, his elderly housekeeper Anna May Newman, and a man named Tom Gaule, you will find that the REAL Stew Webb will emerge from those documents. Webb, the former construction worker/convict/psycho-ward inmate, told the hearing judge that he had his "reputation" to uphold!
When you read the court transcript of the Temporary Restraining Order (T.P.O.)_'Protective' hearing that took place on January 9, 2001 in Las Vegas, you will see a mentally unstable, emotionally infantile, delusional psychotic personality with a persecution complex who makes an ass out of himself in front of the judge and all who witnessed that performance. You cannot help but burst out laughing when you read the entire dialog that takes place between Webb and the judge! It's the funniest damn thing I've seen in a long time. The ironic thing is that Webb himself took the trouble to obtain the transcript and unload it to his web site as 46 separate pages (jpeg images). Despite the fact that he lost the hearing, the obsessive and fevered mind of Stew Webb felt compelled to underline every single word in the transcript that was in any way, accusatory towards Ted Gunderson. Webb even penciled in margin notes to let the reader know where Ted was "committing perjury", or "slander", or "making false charges" against our maligned hero.
I'm going to scan, OCR, and repost the entire transcript of that hearing as an html file, so it will be easier to read and less laborious than clicking through 46 separate pages, but it's still worth going directly to Webb's site and reading it in its present form:

I will respond to each and every allegation made below with REAL documentation and genuine proof of Webb's mendacity and that of his cohorts, Jackie McGauley and Barbara Hartwell. If I only had the time, I would have done this much sooner. I regret that it has taken me so long to come back to Ted's defense. He's a real American, a decent and honorable man who served the FBI for 28 years with a track record of unblemished distinction that few could match.
